Plymouth Marine Laboratory to host Marine Measurement Forum
Mon, 04 July 2016
Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML) is to host the 58th non-profit Marine Measurement Forum covering all relevant issues for inshore and offshore applications, on Thursday 15 September.
As usual, the agenda will feature a series of 20-minute presentations by leading speakers from research and commercial organisations on topics ranging from current scientific projects to instrumentation and survey techniques.
The day-long proceedings will be preceded on 14 September by evening tours of PML’s facilities followed by a networking/social dinner and reception for delegates at the nearby National Marine Aquarium. It coincides with an inaugural Marine Tech Expo sponsored by PML in association with Plymouth City Council and other marine research organisations, the first of a number of events designed to showcase Plymouth’s marine credentials across the world ahead of planned Mayflower 400 celebrations in 2020.
Further Forum details, including guidelines for proposed presentations due on 2 September, are available at www.mmf-uk.org.
