Mon, 03 February 2014
AVEVA today announced that Atkins and Foster Wheeler will be the customer speakers at its upcoming AVEVA World UK User Meeting taking place in London at the Hilton Wembley hotel and Wembley stadium on the 25th and 26th of February 2014.
Atkins’ presentation ‘Atkins, AVEVA & the Japanese Earthquake Response’ centres around the 2011 Japanese earthquake and its effects. It explains how Atkins used AVEVA Laser Model Interface and AVEVA PDMS to develop solutions to deal with similar scenarios that could confront other nuclear plants in the future. Foster Wheeler’s presentation ’Automation of AVEVA NET Data Processing on Foster Wheeler Projects’ focuses on their deployment of AVEVA NET and its integration with a third-party document management system.
Open to the entire UK AVEVA community, the AVEVA World UK User Meeting brings together a wealth of knowledge from the UK’s Oil & Gas, Power, Marine and Plant industry sectors, alongside product expertise from both AVEVA and its customer base. In addition to customer presentations, the AVEVA World UK User meeting offers product workshops, hands-on tutorials and technical updates. AVEVA’s latest technology will also be on show, including the new AVEVA E3D Insight and AVEVA Activity Visualisation Platform (AVEVA AVP).
“We are absolutely delighted to have Atkins and Foster Wheeler present at this year’s AVEVA World UK User meeting. It will be great to see two of our valued customers sharing their AVEVA success stories,“ said Gary Patterson, UK & Ireland Country Manager, AVEVA. “The event offers all of our customers the latest AVEVA software product information and the opportunity to share and discuss best practices with professionals from other sectors of the engineering industry. AVEVA World UK User Meetings have always been very popular with our customers, and we expect 2014’s to be another very successful event.”
